Philadelphia w/ Blessed Theresa of Calcutta
Today....I went in Spanish speaking chat rooms to try and pick up the language b4 getting a shower. It didn't really work.
I got to the Roth's house round 3. John got me my bread & butter :-D. Actually, I had two! Also, I tried some of Mrs.Roth's Turkey soup(?). It's uber good!
I gave Nick a present. Hopefully he likes it. He also played Barbie Girl for me in German. It was AWESOME! I like it better than the English version. Then, John took me to the basement and played a techno version of "Something...??". It's pretty good. Then, I tried playing guitar. My nails r too long so then I just strummed as John played.
We stopped to pick up Stephanie, a friend of Nick's. Martin was annoying and sat in the back w/ John and I. He's really creepy and I think he likes me *shutters*. Mrs.Roth drove us all the way to Philadelphia. We went to mass in this amazing church! It's called Cathedral Basilica of St.Peter & Paul. John showed me around and I had him take pictures. We were sitting next to the gifts so I helped Nick bring them up. OMG! My heart was beating so fast. I couldn't believe I got to do that. I received my blessing as usual. I was glad the priest actually knew what to do.
Afterwards we went to get food. We walked a few blocks to Rex Pizza. They got alright food and all but other places r better. On the way though ppl were making a big fuss over Prince Charles and the b*tch he married being in town. I don't see wat the big deal is. John was nice enough to buy my dinner for me. Kiki and Drew sat w/ us. Kiki looked very beautiful b/c she had eye shadow and mascara on. She was all dolled up, which is nice. She also said she'll teach me Spanish. YAY! Drew prayed w/ me! Next time though it'll be everyone. John had disappeared but I found him outside and around the corner. I just smiled at him and did my usual. We walked back to the vans and headed for the rink.
I didn't know it was an outside rink and didn't skate at all. John and I hung out inside and played arcade games. They weren't that great though. Eventually we got bored and asked to get our sodas out of the van. We did but it took us a while to bring them back. Jen came up to the van and was PISSED! It was worth it though. We did have a talk about it and she thought b/c of our age we felt it was ok to not follow rules which isn't how it was at all.
They had karaoke and Ed went up twice! I enjoyed his first performance more when he sang "Get It Started" or w/e by I believe, The Black Eyed Peas. He was so into that he even got up on a table. He was CRA-ZY! JOhn went up and sang "Pour Some Sugar On Me" by Led Zeppelin??. Lindsey, Katie, and I got up and sang "Walk Away" by Kelly Clarkson. Katie and I were expecting to sing "Wannabe" by the Spice Girls so it was a shock when we found out. I was SO nervous! We left after that.
On the way back Kiki randomly said, "y don't u 2 go out." One reason, I don't want to go out w/ John. He's a great guy but I just don't. First, we stopped back @ the house and I found out David had called. That got me mad b/c he'll call the Roth's but he wont call me. I leave him messages but he wont call. I want 2 grr him SO much! I didn't get home til like 12:50 or so. I am soo tired and want to be up @ 9:45 for church. Don't think that's gonna happen. When I got home I mostly just talked to Tim. He's not officially my big brother! YAY! He's 3 months older. Creation will be fun this year for sure.
I can't wait 4 tomorrow... I just closed out of Tim's IM by accident :(.
