How much grill/surface difference is there between a panini press and a george foreman grill? I love panini's, but I can't really warrant another kitchen item that seldom would be used, and take up that much space. My waffle iron would get jealous.

yeah, i just hijacked my mom's foreman grill and use it as a sandwich press.

the panini press gives you the satisfaction of knowing you didn't willingly purchase a foreman grill, though.

No one buys foreman grills. They appear under your parents Christmas tree with your name on them. DUH!

ahahaha but i did willingly purchase a foreman grill. well, not exactly g.foreman but some other brand. i just said panini press because that is what i'm using it for. it was a small one on sale for $7.50. of course, it's not the best piece of gadget there is but for $7.5 it's sweet! we're actually looking for a good restaurant grade panini press for fioza right now. we've introduce sammiches and are selling the shit outta them. it's getting cold and a what's better on a cold day than a hot panini?

i think your g.f. grill will do the trick just fine for paninis. no need to have both panini press and gf grill. this little cheap gadget i bought is cool because you can change out the plates and make it a waffle iron too.
