Well, it’s been awhile; probably a good time for an update to this thing that no one reads. I had a lot of stuff happen this weekend, so I actually have something to write about (You know you’re excited)
Friday:
Jenna drove home and picked me up (For the last time ever, but I’ll get to that)
We hung out at her house for a few, and then left to go to TGI Fridays because she had a craving for their Jack Daniel’s grill. On the way, I got a call from my friend Jessi from school: Her new boyfriend (who’s a 30 year old lawyer) had Blue Man Group tickets (which I’ve never seen), and wanted to know if we wanted to go on a double date. So Jenna and I headed into Boston. I loved it…I can’t even describe it, but I’d love to go again sometime. I was pretty sure at one point that they were going to grab me and put me on stage, but I lucked out and they got the guy in front of me instead.
After dinner, it started to rain wicked bad, and we headed over to this restaurant in the theater district. The food was amazing, and Jessi’s boyfriend kept ordering more of it. It wasn’t a cheap place, which is fine, but I may have been panicking about paying for it when he said that it was on him. Me and Jenna did the math later, and it ended up being a $300 plus dinner. The blue man group tickets were free too, so all in all it was a great start to the night. I hope Jessi stays with him for awhile, because he’s a cool guy to be with too.
Jenna and I took the train back to her car. By this point, it was fucking pouring out, and we could barely see driving home. We both wanted to hang out for a few at her house, but I didn’t want her to drive home alone, so we got my car, and she followed me back onto the highway. Right around the South Shore Mall exit, I changed lanes to the passing lane. Jenna followed me, hit a puddle, and started to fishtail her car for probably the scariest 10 seconds of my life. I saw the whole thing in my rear view, and pulled over onto the grass when I saw her headlights disappear. She hit the guardrail going about 50, and ended up facing the wrong way on the highway. I ran over to her car and got in. She wasn’t hurt, but she was just staring out the window like nothing happened. The guy behind her had stopped when he saw her hit, and kept offering to stay and take care of her, but I was like “Dude, it’s my girlfriend”, so he took off. I ended up turning her car around (Still facing the wrong way on the highway, but it was undrivable, so we left it and went back to her house real quick to get her changed into warm clothes. I rushed back after she changed to her car, but the cops had already came, so I explained what happened, and they were pretty cool about it. I ended up getting soaked in the process, but I really didn’t care about it at that point. They towed her car to a junk lot, and I took Jenna back home to hang out for a few. It took me almost 40 minutes to drive home because the rain was so bad. I submerged my car up to the headlights in a puddle by the mall…Tons of fun.
Saturday:
I picked up Jenna and went to go check out her car. It was totaled, and her parents won’t let her get a new car right now, so I’m her personal limo service for awhile. Good thing I never get sick of seeing her, haha. We picked up Julie later on that day, and headed out to UMass to hang out with Fred, Adam, and the rest of the mob, along with Jenna’s friend Matt (Oh, and Chuck was there too). It was a pretty good time up until 11 that night. I was stupid and got ridiculously drunk to the point where Jenna had to hold me up (Or so she says…I really don’t remember it. To make a long story short, I ended up puking outside Fred’s house, while driving back to Matt’s place, and then again for the next 3 hours in his bathroom. Jenna stayed with me the entire time, even when I yelled at her to let me take a shower, and I passed out in the bathtub (ask Jenna for the picture) I guess I was pretty ridiculous, but the fact that she stayed with me was amazing. I love her. Really.
Sunday:
I woke up with the biggest hangover ever, and Jenna fed me Teddy Grams until we had to go back to Fred’s place. When we got back to his place, everyone was in pretty bad shape. Chrissie had a huge gash in her forehead, and JP was assaulted with magic markers (Again, we have pics). Me, Jenna, and Julie drove home around 1:30.
Jenna and I took her little brother pumpkin picking that afternoon, and we MAY have got one too (It’s freakin HUGE).
I forget what else we did because I was so hungover, but I’m sure it was a good time, haha.
Monday/Tuesday I worked and then rushed home to see Jenna each night.
I dropped her off Tuesday night, and I’m picking her up again on Friday for her birthday weekend extravaganza.
Yesterday, me and Amy went apartment hunting in Boston. Our realtor is kind of a bitch, but she showed us this awesome place about 5 minutes from my school. It has roof access with a deck, and it’s massive. It’s 1600 a month, and she’s not sure if the landlord can hold it til we can move in (December/January), but she’s going to call Amy about it today or tomorrow. I hope we get it.
Anyways, that’s pretty much it for now.
I’ll write more next week.
Probably.
