Much needed update.

Been a while again since my last update, never have been good at keeping journals but I'll keep on trying nonetheless.

Ermm last point was when I got my TFT monitor, since then my parents went to Malta and came back, not much happened that week really apart from my brother inviting his friends around. Me having to cook for me and my sister and going to Claire's party/bbq.

Claire's party was good, admittantly I just sat with my sister for most of it and talked to her, but I got to catch up a bit with a few good people and it was good. Thats all I can say really, although I do wish there was a bit more food, but I survived in the end.

After that my parents came back and much maltese pastry was eaten, my parents despite saying "This trip to Malta will the the last one in a while" have already booked Malta again for next year, they said they enjoyed it and I think that was partly because they were torturing my aunt over how stingy she was being with her spending. I think though they got to visit alot of the family and just had a nice relaxing time of it, thats what I'm guessing anyway.

After they came back it was another lazy week I think, I cant really remember much of it apart from having a nightmarish time with sorting things out with my mate Lyn's wedding.
I finally came to realise that Keswick where he is getting married is actually very far up north and near the Scottish border, this shocked me a little but then I went onto trying to book guest house. This is where the trouble began.
Bascially summed up: because the week my mate is getting married is a bank holiday weekend 99% of places required me to book an extra day or they wouldnt take my reservation, that or they didnt have places, after phoning 10 places, my mum phones a place and gets one that doesn't require the extra day, which is either really lucky or the bloke on the other end didn't realise it was a bank holiday weekend.

Other than that I was talking to my sister about resident evil and I got pangs of nostalgia for my old Dreamcast, which was hanging around but deceased. So I decided to get one from gamestation and thus started the saga of the dreamcast.
Without going into too much detail, the first one didnt turn on and had a duff av lead, the second one had a screwed up lens but some games worked or crashed midway, the third time was lucky but the clock doesnt work which is comparitively a minor problem. Then after all that my rose tinted nostalgia was destroyed as I got to actually play the games and the graphics were nowehre near as good as I had remembered them, still resident evil was still a good play atleast.

Other than that I am now fully moved into my flat in Brum. I am the only one there and I have to sort out bills and stuff but its okay.
My parents were not impressed with the place to say the least and were annoyed I didnt take up the student acommodation again.
Still after some initial hitches such as a door that wouldnt lock and no hot water, everything is alright apart from the fact I dont have a tv license yet so no tv and there is no internet connection yet or phone, but they will be sorted out in time. My main aim for moving up so early is to get some prepetory reading done but I will start that tommorow I think, as I still gotta do a full load of shopping to do and stuff.

That takes me upto this point really where I am just pottering around brum doing day to day things until I briefly come back down to MK so I can then go up north for my mates wedding.

Until next time

Regards
Zammit
