rose up and sang hello.

So, okay, I missed a bunch of episodes, but I actually remembered to tune in for Burn Notice last night, and I am so glad I did! The mental image of Fi and Cordelia Chase as shoe-shopping motorcycle-riding BFFs will never, ever leave me. ♥♥♥♥♥ And of course Fi wants to go out swinging. Ugh, my HEART. (After they leapt from the restaurant railing, I think I started to ship it a little; the clutching on the motorcycle did not dissuade me.)

Really, this episode was nearly fanfiction: pretending to be married, Michael beating up a guy with neither of them dressed in anything except a towel, a hint of ladyslash on the side - and, of course, the ~dramatic ending. Jesse and Sam were fantastic, especially Sam's last little bye-bye wave to the bad guy. And Agent Pierce! I really, really hope they don't kill her next ep, I like her so much and she at least deserves a chance to solve her case fully. **crosses fingers** Next week could be either totally awesome or incredibly disappointing. It can be such a strain, being fannish about open canon. I don't know how people do this on a regular basis. DDDDDD:

I'm really glad this weekend coming up is going to be a long one, because I have SO MUCH to write, homg. And next weekend is the start of school, which means work is going to abruptly shift a gear or two up. At least I don't have homework anymore?
