it's about the way you wear it.

I appreciate that shopping is fun for many people, but generally speaking, I really hate it. I don't mind the Nearly New Sale at home, and I don't mind shopping for small tchotchkes, but that's about it; and I am wretched at giving people advice. If you want a more detailed answer than "... Fine?" when you ask how something looks on you, DO NOT use me as your shopping companion.

This comes up, naturally, because B decided to go clothes shopping today. Long story short: it was basically my idea of hell. The end.

Before that, however, we went to see Letters to Juliet. I don't know whether anyone cares about spoilers, because after you've seen the preview, you've basically seen the movie, but just in case: I'll cut.

Overall, I did like it; but even if I hadn't seen the preview, I would have been able to guess essentially everything that happened after she decided to answer the letter. It was very Twilight-esque, in the sense that I had a very good idea what I'd be getting when I went in, and that was, indeed, exactly what I got. Pretty light romantic comedy, with hot people and decent writing - some of the bickering between Sophie and Charlie nearer the beginning was actually quite funny. I think it might have been better if it had been a touch longer, with a little more interaction between Sophie and Charlie before the Temporary Split Due to Uncertainty. I was glad they didn't make Sophie's fiancé a complete dick; he was perfectly nice, just not right for Sophie. Bottom line: brain twinkie, but reasonably heartwarming. I wouldn't mind watching it again, but I'm not going to, like, chase after it.

Three days, and I get to go home. \o/!
