Happy New Year
So the New Year rang in with a bang. I suppose it can't get any worse than this.
1.) I got my period....(Yippeee...stupid monthly destroyer of happiness)
2.) I worked (...and I work all weekend so there went even thinking about going out on New Year's Eve)
3.) I didn't get to celebrate it with my girl friend (not like there'd be much to do with the period there...*grumbles*)
Probably the only plus is that I got a nickname at work (Thank you to my boss): Cotton Candy
The reason? Cause I put pink/purple in my hair and it reminds her of cotton candy so now everybody is calling me Cotton Candy or Cotton. I suppose it's not too bad. I don't mind it, and I'm answering to it now. Oh well...such is life.
I am reading a book where you read it every day and it's suppose to help change your life for the better. So, the first day seemed good. It spoke about setting goals for yourself. I did what it said, and smiled to myself. I wrote them down than threw it away (or dropping it or something like that) cause there are just some things you can't control in your life. Rather good so far. We'll see what the book brings on tomorrow.
On the plus side though, I'll be moving in Feb with my partner to Reading. I'm uber excited. I can not wait. :) *does a little happy dance*
