October Update

1.) I have once again relapsed a bit on my diet. This will not continue as it is bothering me as some of my favorite clothes don't fit. I was getting caught in a vicious circle. I have relearned that no food tastes as good as being thin feels. I need to go militant for awhile with Weight Watchers. I gave myself and took a mile, which I knew could happen. I also know I need to be consistent about going to weigh in. I know I can get this newly added weight off and then some. I have done it before.

2.) Due to a change in the schedule at work, I now only have one true day off in October. I am either on call at night, in the morning, or in the office every day but one. Luckily, I do love my job. I wouldn't do a schedule like that other wise. Saturday will be my seven month anniversary in the industry.

3.) I have decided to dedicate my "normal business hours" on Saturdays when I am not in the office to volunteer work. The volunteer work specifically is the free child identification program sponsored by the Masons. The program has helped recover at least 30 kids in the state of Missouri. It's nice to do something that makes a difference.

4.) Kickball is going great. The team I am on is now 4-2 for the season and I'm not too shabby of a player. I was all excited about playing kickball in the winter, but I am not going to play as the games will be on Saturday.

5.) My sister is coming to town in two weeks, which is going to be fun. Her and I are planning on painting the town red after I get done with my volunteer work.

6.) Speaking on coming into town, The Smashing Pumpkins are coming here soon. I am highly excited about this concert, especially since I am not on call that night.

That's it for now. I need to finish getting ready for work.
