What a terrible loss to the music community. But it was bound to happen. Out of all the shitty seattle "grunge" bands to come out in the early 90's Alice in Chains were always my favorite. The only album I do not have is dirt and anything after Alice in Chains. My favorite of those albums was Jar of Flys. I also loved the Mad Season album that he did with one of the guys from Screaming Trees and some dick smack from Pearl Jam. I've always loved his voice and it will be missed by me =|. That said, this is one of my favorite songs of all time:
