What I've been working on for the last year. Environment art and textures for the multiplayer levels. Some of my meshes and such, apparently, have been used in single player as well.
Clearing up a few things about Bioshock and bioshock 2.
First, it's not unreal 3.
Please don't argue that with me. I've had people go off on rants to me about it, when an NDA prevents me from saying "You're so full of shit it's leaking out of your mouth, you might want to ge that looked at."
It's a modified unreal 2. Unreal, in general, is a crappy engine. Really. It's slapped together, poorly organized, and hacked to withing an inch of it's life. Unreal 2 is particularly so. I was so hoping they'd go with our in house engine... but no. Their loss. Our in house tech is a hell of a lot better than unreal. It has to do with programmers that actually listen when an artist says 'The implementation of this is hard to use' and takes suggestions.
But the people I've been working with on this project rock on so many levels. It's been great. Organized. Well thought out. Head and shoulders above previous projects I've worked on. I want /all/ the projects I'm on to be like this.
Anyways... this is just a heads up as to what I've been working on.
I still want to do my home project. Hopefully, I'll have a bit of time off after this project to get some giant robot goodness going.
