The Beckhams
Apparently I am in the minority on this, but i thought Victoria Beckham's reality special Welcome To America was very entertaining. Apparently NBC decided to just air the one special and nixed the reality series. I am slightly disappointed that there will be no more episodes. I found her to be just hilarious and totally mocking herself the entire time. I guess critics saw her humor as more of a self-promoting love fest of her "posh" (pun intended) lifestyle.
I especially loved the scene where she goes to the "Ladies Lunch" she was invited to in her new Beverly Hills neighborhood. All these old, botoxed (and more) rich women sitting around getting absolutely drunk and talking about money. The women in the blue pants suit that dubbed herself "The Little Mermaid" and made terrible Flipper sounds was amazing.
There was just so much great comedy in this special. I'm really kind of shocked that I even liked it, but I can't believe I'm the ONLY one who liked it. Anyone else out there catch this?
C'mon people she confronts Perez Hilton! This is comic gold!
