Spaghetti Should Be Food Only
I'm finally getting around to watching some of the "Spaghetti Westerns". I've meant to watch them for many years. I dislike westerns in general, but one should be exposed to a wide range of popular culture.
I can forgive production values. I can forgive special effects based on the age of the films. I'm not knowledgeable enough about the period to criticize weaponry or clothing.
I just watched an entire mounted platoon gunned down by a Gatling, but the horses lived.
These are simply vehicles for the romantic, overblown idea of cowboys and gunslingers. They're not fun for me. I'm slogging through because I have nothing to do at work.
