Another "boosting the signal" post, for a good cause.
Word's been going around the f-list about this, but in hopes of reaching an even wider audience I'm adding a note about it to my blog, too.
There's a new Doctor Who fanfic comm up, liljacks_corner; it's the home of a G-rated fanfic project designed to cheer up a little boy who's lost his legs and will be in a wheelchair for the rest of his life. If that isn't a worthy reason to write some fic, I don't know what is.
There are already some posts up on the comm giving more info about the project and providing sign-ups for people willing to write, beta and provide artwork.
FWIW, I've been pleased to see this info being taken up and passed around by a fairly broad spectrum of Who fic-fandom. WTG, fellow Whovians. :)
