Here's a serious piece of local WTF-ery, which just made the Yahoo News page and ABC. Oh, nice.

Another person to make us look sane.

This guy in the video is a real charmer.

Although at least the article says what I've said for years, is that Caffiene is the most used drug, not alcohol as all the training films say.

I have seen the gamer and student cultures swigging the stuff down by the gallon and wondered what long term affects it could have. Guess there are potentially more major short term affects too.

As for me, its kinda nice being able to get drunk off of apple juice and only resorting to heavier goods like mountain dew if I really felt like getting wasted.

Oh, and I feel terrible for those kids hurt on finals week. I mean, not ALL the students are insane, the one on the sidewalk was most likely not one of the insane crossers-- I can't believe from the looks of that windshield that the two pedestrians ONLY got broken legs.

Of course, bad breaks can cause life long disabilities, pain, and trouble, so not that breaks aren't bad, but breaks beat dead, right?
