Been listening with increasing irritation to some of the arguments given against health care reform; I don't often post political stuff, but I ran accross this excellent column today:

Then, for a humorous palate-cleanser, here's an entertaining post over on kateorman's blog. The comments thread is just hysterical (especially if you're up on your Egyptian mythology . . .).
Sorry, I remain Made of Fail in terms of answering comments, emails, reviews, etc. Also, my perusal of the f-list reamins spotty, so I'm probably missing all kinds of good/important stuff (I pretty much look in every now and then at the first 20 posts on my Friends page, and that's about it). Again, apologies. I look forward to catching back up with y'all in a while. :)
