yes - you are getting in your own way - stop it!! and start with worrying less about your looks or you'll wind up anorexic - that is a problem! and don't let anyone tell you otherwise! and if you continue that is where you are headed, then I'll have to come out there and bring you home myself and you know I won't have a problem doing that - so stop obsessing over your weight -stop counting calories, or carbs and just eat healthy and exercise and you'll be fine.
you need to work on enjoying yourself and what you're doing and stop be such a perfectionist - I know that is hard - but look into that - because that will hold you back - as you are seeing. find that healthy balance between determination, working hard and enjoying what you are doing. take time appreciate all you have done and acheived - and the opportunities you have - a spoonful of gratitude each day will go along way. look behind only to see how far you've come and rejoice in it - don't look back on what could have been - that'll bring you down. keep positive thoughts always - always look ahead and dream about what can be - dream - believe - strive for it - be positive!!!!
