Fourth Week, Tuesday, note to Tommy Lee

In the hallway, during the day, Peri manages to slip a folded note into Tommy Lee's pocket, then skips away gaily, waving. It's written in aqua felt-tip pen on pink paper, the sheet folded into a neat triangle. Once text is unearthed from the origami-esque folds, it reads: Hi, handsome! *kisses

Peri chuckles. "Of course not. Why would I deny myself, too?" She chuckles, watching him with bright eyes as he plays, and begins to chew on a new licorice whip.

She sings along, softly, "On a dark desert highway, cool wind in my hair..." Munch. Munch. She's pleased, amused, and probably other things as well.

He chuckles, and nods. "Point that." He takes the guitar and sights down it's neck, checking it for straightness. "This'n'll do just fine." He smiles to Peri and steals another quick kiss.

Peri laughs and returns the kiss, then offers him a bit more of the licorice. "So... what else did we have in mind? And do you want me to do the gift-wrapping? I'm pretty good at it..."

He nods. "Well, I wuz thinkin' a harmonica. An' sure.. you can do the wrappin."

[dame_peri]

Peri deadpans, "I think Ash would enjoy a mouth organ, yes." She rolls her eyes heavenward, looking innocent. "Okay. Long's you are willing to pick up the balloons the day of?"

Oh, you soooo just got suckered, Tommy Lee.

He notes dryly; "I'm sure you can accomidate him." He grins, teasing her. "And yah.. I'll pick 'em up I reckon."

[dame_peri]

Peri hmphs. "I'm sure I don't know what you mean," she counters, slipping a hand into the crook of his arm. "So help me shop... there's a rare bookstore down the block I want to check into, also."

He chuckles and nods as they go to the counter. "A'right. And.. how many clothing stores between here and it?"

Peri just laughs. "I'm on a mission," she tells him, grinning. "Clothes after." Apparently, she's serious.

He chuckles and smiles. "Fair enough. Jus' s'long as I get t'take y'a out of whatever y'all buy."

[dame_peri]

Peri chuckles, shaking her head. "I thought that was a foregone conclusion?" She swats his rear, and saunters off to the other side of the shop, grinning toothily.
