Phlegm factory
It's the second time this season that I've picked up a cold.
Fortunately, I'd already took the day off to see the cardiologist (I'd had chest pain from an anxiety attack and wanted it checked out), so I didn't have to worry about being at work. The dental cleaning scheduled in the afternoon got postponed for the next year, since I didn't want to be coughing in the poor technican's face. ( LOL, the office manager was freaked out that I came in to reschedule and actually cleaned the counter where I'd touched it when I came in.)
I still have to go back for the stress test, but the echo-cardiogram is fine, per the doctor, BTW.
This cold is different from the last one. It's mostly in my head, so my sinuses are clogged up... one side at a time though. I'd hate to have both sides clogged up!
Anyhoo, I called my manager and took today off, too. I like four day weekends, but would prefer to have 'em when I'm NOT sick.
