Drabble: Almost
King Arthur commanded his new Court Sorcerer to end the drought that plagued the kingdom for months. Eager to show off his talents, Merlin invited Arthur outside to observe.
Merlin raised his arms to the sunny sky and called for rain to come and relieve the land that Arthur reigned over.
“He’ll be so proud of me for saving the crops,” Merlin thought.
Suddenly, there was the sound of thunder raging, but the sky remained cheerfully clear.
“MERLIN, you idiot!” he heard behind him, and turned to find Arthur standing under his own personal rain cloud.
“Ooops,” Merlin said sheepishly.
