Back from DHS
For what it's worth, I got Food Stamps. No medical card.
I think it's about $200 a month, starting Friday.
Is this good news? Maybe. With Cantropos getting a small raise to go with his transfer/promotion, this may mean gas money for me getting around town in the a.m. to try finding work or volunteering. I do think this is worth being thankful for.
Now if only I could find something to eat right now.
We just found out about the appointment last night. I had to get help (thank you again, Thurvin!) to get bank statements printed. They ended up not looking at them, or needing any of Cantropos' information. I am a unit of one.
