Frazzled Holiday week

Dec 26, 2009 09:54

I've been way too scattered this week to do a proper update. I haven't even had much energy for role-playing.

We had Christmas with Cantropos's family yesterday. For the planned gift exchange we gave some embroidery thread (as requested) to his grandma and a donation Habitat for Humanity to his cousin. I also bought the grandmother some cherry juice soaked bird seed for her feeders, because I was very excited to find it at Farm & Fleet.

There was food and talk and a bit of fun. Nothing extraordinary. The grandma cookies were especially good this year.

Cantropos received a lot more because it was his family, and some of his gifts, like DVDs and books, I get to share. He got the electric skillet we requested since ours has no lid and is creeping closer to dying. And I got not only both PS1 DDR games, but another dance pad. The cousin also told us that the PS1 games will play on the PS2 that we were given just last week by a former co-worker of Cantropos's. I was so happy about the extra dance pad, because that means me and Cantropos can compete sometimes. I just hope we can get it all hooked up to the little TV soon.

I hope everyone who celebrated had a safe and happy time.
