Styoopid AT&T
Apologies to all I was online with last night. Our ISP went down around midnight. It was apparently a general outage for the whole state but they couldn't put up a msg on their phone system, so we were on hold for nearly an hour to be told there was nothing we or the tech agent could do to fix it. It was back by morning -- lucky for them or their business customers would be reaming AT&T a new you-know-what.
I saw Prince Caspian last night. I was vaguely unsettled with a lot of it and confused. I don't recall the books all that well, but there were things that rubbed me wrong. The extra carnage and fighting versus character development with who could see Aslan in the woods was one thing I didn't like. I think the boy who played Caspian did a fair job though he was barely understandable sometimes. But I still left feeling vaguely bleh about it.
