There are few okayish ones in the batch of 'regular' icons I'm working on. I just wanted to get this set posted (because I'm using one of them already).

I noticed! There really needs to be more cravat love out there.

I know. Of course, Percy has the best cravats in the film, but I wasn't taking pictures of him and his neck and chin do nothing for me. While... well, my boyfriend benefitted a bit yesterday from me making these. Though his comment when he looked over my shoulder at the image editor was, "I see mouths." I didn't have everything completely cropped, and I swear some men are blind to the obvious sexiness of a soft-skinned neck, a well-formed ear, a poufy ribbon and a snowy cravat!

Some ladies, too. Honestly, I can't understand it. ;) I went googling for cravats once. My friends said it was the intellectual woman's porn.

Does that make us intellectual women?

Perhaps. Oh, and I do definitely perfer the white cravats. I'm usually disappointed when an actor is given a brown or black one (I've even seen red and so on- ick).

To be honest, even in my not 'sexy' pics I nearly always do a light blue cast to bring out the white in the cravats, especially the folds. I like hair ribbons too. One of the sad things about the 1982 movie is that ALL the men's hair ribbons are black as far as I can tell. So sad.

Christian gets worried when he sees me eyeing ribbons in the store.

lol One friend of mine seems to be teasing me by boasting of his knowledge of cravats in a sort of mock flirtation, knowing how I feel about them. I haven't moved on to hair-ribbons yet but they are very fine. Those 18th century men's fashions were sublime. Now we should be lucky to see a man wear a frock coat.
