(no subject)
so this weekend was like bitter sweet. i am pissed about the show. i didnt want to end on that one. i have put more time into marching band than i care to think about and this weekend ended with people not caring whether we did well or not. i cant even explain how angry i am about how band has been run this year. like the instructors letting us "run" practices...fucking ridiculous. yeah soooo...pretty fucking mad about that.
on a lighter note, i had so much fun this weekend. pretty much spent it all with allie and have no regrets about it. shes great and i think we're good together. kinda like amx and brittany...thats another good couple. i learned a lot more about throwing rifles this weekend and im actually pretty good at it. got a compliment from one of the captains of the guard about my rotation. thats sweet. its really fun once you get past the "holy shit thats a scary piece of spinning wood coming at my head" part of the process. this weekend was much enjoyable.
im am looking forward to my week off until symphonic winds starts tuesday-thurday practices til the end of january. by the way...the music we are playing for the gmea conference is soooo easy and i dont like the idea of sooo many extra practices. but what can you do. so thats that and ill see yall at school.
