The United States of Whatever
Florida State University sucks big time: after 2 months of non-communicating, and after I e-mailed them to ask for explanations, they send me this crappy e-mail with a shitty "letter" attached that says I am accepted as a graduate student but NOT as a Teaching Assistant (which is what I really want!) for Italian, which is something I already knew, and that is why I had applied for French too. So I e-mail them back to know about the French application...and...they e-mail me back attaching the same crappy letter, only changing "Italian" with "French"!!! How lame is that??? I mean, I can understand the lack of funds or of positions available, but then why do you have to wait 2 fucking months to let me know about it??? I just don't understand how they can pretend to be competitive and all that crap, when they have a crappy service, and they hire people based on "first come, first served"! How lame is that, when you have to hire a teacher of an actual real language???!!! HHMMMPPPHHHHH
So I have only two options left now: University of Florida in Gainesville and University of South Florida in Tampa...please cross your fingers for me!
I didn't even manage to sneak a salami into the US through the mail...what a sad day...the K-9 found it...now, is the K-9 really a dog? How can a dog be called K-9???! How can somebody have laws against imports of meat and vegetables???! Lame-o!!! (How can I want to move there?? Even lamer! haha)
