Interrupted Thought

"By three methods we may learn wisdom: First, by reflection, which is noblest; Second, by imitation, which is easiest; and third by experience, which is the bitterest."
Confucius

What is wisdom? I have heard it linked to age many times but it seems to me that a more accurate connection would be to experiences. Learning from past mistakes is all well and good but the application of knowledge learned from said mistakes is wise indeed.

*wisdom is linked to aging in most minds
*wisdom is really created by experiences
*some experiences will give a profound awareness while others might not
*wisdom is knowing truth: wisdom is knowing the correct answer: wisdom is knowing the correct answer is not always the right answer
*Wisdom is a perception by the individual, the perception being that they have reached enlightenment. That is why the wise are fools. Even if they think they have much to learn they have already decided that they are on the right path.

"Wisdom is truly foolishness, for it is the perception of an absolute truth that can only be validated when in the presence of the like-minded."
-Colter LaBelle

My brother interrupted my thinking progress and now the thoughts that were so clear have become murky. I can only compare the feeling to water slipping through cupped hands. Perhaps another time i will be able to read this and complete my thought.
