I went to see it tonight and was pleased the the cinema was full a couple of weeks after it's release, I read push not so long ago and was moved by how powerful the story was but I have to say whilst I enjoyed the film I really didn't think it was true to the book. I found that there were lots of parts where the audience were laughing kind of distasteful and also why were the scenes of abuse made fluffy and nice, Im not saying it's a bad film as i enjoyed it but I think it could have been done a lot better than it was. Or maybe I'm just a bleak bastard.
