So funny old week all told, not been in the best of spirits this week, and oh god did I pick the wrong week for that.
the guy who i work with took the week off and as always happens when someone takes a week off and I cover them alone the magical event cancelling fairy takes a frag grenade and throws it in my general direction and watches the ensuing fun.
Anyway no point moaning it's only a job. So the fun part of the week came last night when me any the young Mr Dickie went to see TNA wrestling, this started out as a joke with me saying to the aforementioned dickie fancy going to the wrestling him saying maybe me saying so wrestling with a meet and greet beforehand, to which he was slightly more keen.
So Friday night we go and line up with the "Special People" and the closet cases and in some cases the closet cases and their children, not that I mean to presume but if your getting really over excited and pushing your kid out the way to get a little bit closer to the big muscley guy in trunks people will presume, anyway i digress we were in line to meet and presumably greet the wrestlers (we had no idea who they were) when I said um this joke went a tad too far didn't it ten awkward wrestler meeting minutes later we were done, we went and sat down and waited for the other 999 people to be done when we saw another wrestler at the merch stand what the hell we thought and ran over I got a headlock and Chris got a chokehold it was much fun.
the event itself was the gayest thing ever and I loved every second you cant beat big men play fighting on a friday night to lift the spirits. Saturday was work then home I was gonna go see Hudson Mohawke do a set at Hoya Hoya but it was cold and I really wasn't in the mood to be social so instead me a bag of marshmallows and a bag of wine gums sat down to watch Knowing & 35 shots of rum one I loved and one I hated bet you cant tell which is which lol.
Sunday was lay in, little shopping and then watched District 9 which I thought was pretty awesome even though it has South African accents in it (the one accent that really grates on me) all in all pretty good weekend.
