by the way - finally went to the doctor today (almost 3 wks since back started hurting) ... I tried to be tough - but getting 1-3 hrs. of sleep per night is NOT cutting it!
So - it turns out it IS my "siatic" nerve. (spelling???)
So I got 2 shots in the butt ... and 3 prescriptions.
Hopefully all will be well soon in the world of the dirty bird.

I'm on 3 different meds ... and I haven't read the "fine print" yet from the pharmacist.
I'm gonna drink any damn way ... and if I get too drunk - I'll walk my happy ass up the Elders hill home!

Anywhooooo - I was REALLY nervous about the x-ray, thinking, "WHAT IF IT'S A SLIPPED DISC?!?!"
(and everything's been making me cry lately ... so this was no different)
but luckily - it wasn't a slipped disc.
And the Dr. was GREAT!
(He'd had this last year - so understood my pain, and agreed that it felt like someone constantly stabbing you in the back and leg ... yeah - not too comfy)

But those shots have already started kicking in - and I think (crossing fingers) that I'm FINALLY gonna get some sleep tonight!
