I have begun my do or die semester. I can't just say fuck it like last time. Time to do something I have not done since I was in 10, put effort into school. I have bought two out of 4 books so far. The other two being the most expensive, I am trying to find online cheaper. I have $10 in the bank right now with some credit charges being applied soon. Luckily I get paid tomorrow but i will have to save a lot of it for a major credit card payment at the end of the month to free up room on it to get new tires. I never realized how worn my tires really wore until I was forced to put on the spare after I got a nail in my tire(I still drove on the freeway without realizing it was flat, a reason why I love my truck)and was reminded what tread looked like. I should also change the oil soon too. Its been like 8000 miles at least since the last time.
Anyways back to school. This work and school takes their toll on someone that used to being a lazy bastard. I have to stop that. My sociology class won't be hard as long as I give any kind of effort. Same with my English-1B class. I just have to be smart and do things ahead of time. The same with my music fundamentals class. Despite being music, I know actually learning the basic can be extremely boring but I have high hopes for that class. Now Trigonometry may be my downfall. Its the most expensive book and I have bombed he first quiz. At first I thought of just using the reserve copy in the library, but sometimes having work after class and the book already being checked out may hinder my academic progress there. Of course you can't forget the brillaint move on my part by taking a class that I dropped because I kept on falling asleep at 2pm at 7:30 in the morning. I might need to start drinking coffee. If only it tasted as good as it smells. There are also energy drinks but you can't brew your own at home. That class will be my real test this semester. If I pass (dear god let me pass with a high enough grade to get the transferable credit) I will hold off on higher math until I fully decide on a major and see if i need more, but taking this will take care of the math requirements for most majors I believe. either this or the next one.
Tomorrow I have no school and no work. Still, I have plenty of errands to do since my mom is in El Paso right now helping my Aunt recover from spinal surgery. That leaves me with a lot of errands to do tomorrow before I go to the Odd Thomas show.
