So....let's see what's been going on with me lately, shall we? Let's do a "Good, Bad and Ugly"
Good - I got the official call last Thurs. that I am cast in A Grand Night For Singing
Bad - I have basically shot my weekends til the show runs. Rehearsals are Saturdays from 10a til 1p and Sundays from 2p til 5p.
Good - Met with my Dr. last Friday to go over my labs. Everything is fine and my PSA came back at 1.5. However....
Bad - My cholesterol was high. He wants me to diet and exercise more for 6 months then come back again and see how it is. He thinks I might be a case for text book genetic high cholesterol
Good - Today is payday
Bad - It's spent already
Bad - I wait til yesterday to get my taxes preprared
Good - I am getting a refund
Bad - It isn't that much
Ugly - After paying to have my taxes prepared by net refund will be significantly less
Bad - Hubby was making something in the crockpot on Tues. and while he was upstairs it shorted out and burnt/melted onto the formica countertop
Good - It really isn't THAT bad. Maybe the size of a half dollar or so.
Bad - Hubby thinks I need to call the homeowner's insurance and file a claim as "The entire counter is ruined now and can't be repaired and we will have to replace it all"
Ugly - I talked to a friend yesterday who was an ins. agent and he really doesn't think my ins. co. will allow a claim. I relayed this information and home and was treated to a 5 min. shouting of "Then why the hell do we pay insurance premiums for??!!"
Non-descript - I am gonna call my agent today just for giggles and see what she says.
Good - I thought of a way of getting more exercise and saving us some money -- doing the yard work work myself.
Bad - It takes me 6 to 7 hours to mow, edge, trim and sweep when I do that since we are on a corner lot on 1/4 acre. That again will shoot an enitre day.
Good - American Idol was on last night.
Bad - They all sucked....big time.
Good - The latest major patch for World of Warcraft was released yesterday
Bad - Apparently it's buggier than hell and no one could get on to play last night
Good - I didn't play last night and probably won't til Thursday or Friday
Bad - The car has to have it's annual state inspection done.
Good - It won't cost that much
Bad - I have to have it done by Friday.
Good - TBRU was last weekend
Bad - I wasn't registered
Good - I got to see some friends from out of town finally
Better - There was LOTS of hawtness in town
Bad - I didn't get to spend a lot of time with my friends
Ugly - I think I inadvertantly offended a very close and dear friend yesterday with a snippy comment that was not directed at him.....just at a situation in general
