I suppose I've become a proper member of the QA team now, as people don't stop by to see if I need anything all the time anymore. In fact, I've sort of become the go to guy for one of the tool we use now due to my previous experiences in Operations giving me a much broader background with it than most other people have. My development team is very open with each other and more than willing to help out with some of the test load if things start getting swamped at the end of a sprint. All is going pretty well workwise, really.
I'm still not really used to only having 2 days a week off... but I suppose seven years of having 3 or 4 days a week off will take some time to adjust from.
In video game news, I'm REALLY looking forward to Ace Attorney: Dual Destinies after playing the demo. It's admittedly more of the same... but the Pheonix Wright games are all good, so that's not bad. I'm also pretty pleased that Professor Layton v Ace Attorney is actually going to get a release over here next year.
More immediately, though, I'm looking forward to Pokemon X/Y. Mainly because I can get a Charmander again. Everyone loves Charmander.
