Officially on vacation...

...which means I get to spend my time doing all the shit around here I haven't done since Christmas.  My list also includes things that coudn't be done until now (for example, staining the patio furniture).

So.  Here's to vacations where you can work your ass off doing different shit.

I've had good luck with the antbaits. Mostly boric acid mixed with sugar. I sprinkle them around the house perimeter, and then put some on the trails that I can find. Takes a week to work, but it does the trick.

I tried Comet cleanser with sugar as we don't have Borax here. It doesn't seem to have worked. I really don't want to have to resort to any kind of insecticide.
