Ho Ho Hum
Here I am, caught in the Torrents of Spring Break! However, this seems hardly a whirlwind romance....
As I had feared, I am spending my much-needed free time ruminating and organizing two particular papers. One is due Monday (24) and the other, Friday (28). I also have a paper due Thursday (27) and two other, smaller assignments. It should be needless to say that the two I am occupying my free time with are a bit more dense.
'Tis a shame I am missing out on so much. Then again, this is the hardcore. This is the battle I fight. A choice, above all things!
I would like to be done with the Shakespeare paper by tonight. The Aristotle paper, since it is due Friday, may wait for the weekend. Perhaps I can get something rough and smooth it out by Monday. Everything else is easy-peasy.
Spring Break hasn't been all stuffy. Let us face fact: I enjoy scholarly pursuits. Also, I got Super Smash Bros. Brawl, so that's keeping me busy during lulls in focused thought.
This Spring Break has me looking very forward to Summer Break. Though I suffer in the relentless heat and humidity of Massachusetts summertimes, the lack of obligations and deadlines will make for more "me" time. 'Tis funny how we work so hard for so long for the goal of being free; yet the time being free is significantly shorter than the period spent working toward it. Hmph.
For Summer shall make its end known with the Guns of August!
