Oh, teh pretty

I've never been a big fan of downloading tv shows episodes in HD. Don't get me wrong, I love hi-def, and I can tell you that when I watch my LOST Blu-Rays, half my mind's on the plot, the other half's on the pixels and how pretty they look. But hey, it's LOST, they're shooting on freakin' Hawaii, it's like it was made for Hi-Def.
But wasting bandwidth and data download allowance, and on top of that having to wait forever to be able to download an ep in 4 different parts ? Thanks, but no thanks, not worth it.

So of course I had never thought about dl Castle in HD. Well, it didn't even cross my mind that it existed in HD, anywhere on the net. It's only a procedural (albeit of a special kind) after all.

Until...

I read someone say that they had Knockdown in HD and a nice flat-screen tv and that a rewatch was in order. And though I don't have the tv (yet, ahem)...suddenly, I just had to have it. I mean, it's freaking Knockdown ! So after a small search and a bit of time...I was able to gaze at Beckett and Castle and the pretty sets, in all their glory. And damn if it wasn't like watching it for the first time all over again (even though I watched it so much and in such a limited period of time I quickly lost count of the number of re-watches).

I love that show so damn much.

fandom, castle, my boring fangirly life
