I rant and thank the Lord its over.
She asked four questions (I mean on page one of the exam she had four multiple choice questions and then on page 4 she asked the same questions again) twice on her exam. She crazely said it was to check for cheating ?!? I asked if that meant if I get a question wrong then I get punished twice? Then she asked four phonological error ID questions with the same answer (they were all examples of stridency deletion and stopping). One question there was no answer. She said I should have realized that I should put the least wrong answer (it was a question asking for definitions!!! There was no least wrong answer). I reminded her on the quiz when she listed phonetic inventory and people put the definition for independent phonetic inventory that she marked it wrong and people yelled in class, but now on the exam that definition is right?!? ARGh. She then repeats her famous phrase "That's why I don't want you learning the definitions (from her powerpoints) because then you will just get it wrong....". She is so senile. I feel bad for her as a person but this is really screwed up. I hate the college system, the unbalanced instruction and grading, professors with tenure who just keep teaching past their time, the whole way it functions. Agrh, I am too tired to continue this tirate. I just want to go home and sleep. Packing now, even more stressful.
