(no subject)
Oh woe is me... I think no one was able to read my last couple posts because I had that stupid future dated post of my to do list in my journal. Clearly, I have no clue as to how to have a future dated post but still make regular posts that others can see because this has been happening since I made that list. I had thought I had fixed it but I guess it only worked briefly.
Today was just another summer day. Jonah had a friend sleep over last night and so today I took Jonah, his friend, and the girls to Jonah's fencing class. His friend and Chaya might sign up for the next beginner's session which starts at the end of August. I think it'd be cool if Chaya did fencing, too, because then she and Jonah could practice against each other at home. From fencing we went to the McDonald's on 309 because they have a huge indoor playland. Eve was better overall than she has been but constantly teased Jonah's friend the entire time he was here. I think she likes him. She kept trying to get him to let her sit on his lap at fencing.
This evening I took Josiah and his friends to the mall and the younger three to ToysRUs to spend various birthday money they each had. Luckily, no one picked anything too annoying. Jonah got a new sword set and wanted to buy this neat water cooler for his bedroom which looked like it was clearance for $8. Unfortunately, it wasn't clearance and was $35 so we didn't get it. Eve picked out some new sippy cups, bubble gum and one of those Crayola Color Wonder sets with a Disney Princess theme that has markers and paints that only work on special Crayola paper. Chaya picked a My Little Pony activity book that came with a special color revealing marker but it was a complete waste of money. She completed the whole book in less than an hour. Oh well. You live and learn.
