We can't have that now can we? For the record I love your Master. daligulvstrandJuly 11 2011, 21:38:22 UTC
As if there was any possibility I could not.
[An equally warring mix of emotions are churning about behind the Doctor's eyes. Relief, Anger, Distrust, Guilt, Surprise, and just the smallest dash of Fear. The kind of confusing emotions no one but they would understand.]
...What are you doing here? [How is this even possible]
Weeeell, I suppose for someone who is supposed to be dead, you are looking rather good.
[The gears in his head are working at twice their normal speed as he tries to determine how it's possible for The Master to be standing here. He watched as the body of his old enemy and best friend burned. There has to be something else he is missing. Or perhaps this is The Master from a different Universe than his own. Regardless, he can sense something very wrong with the other Time Lord]
All that talk of 'saving' me, 'helping' me, seeing the universe together. But in the end you just stood by with your mouth hanging open and left me for dead.
You staged a hostile take over of the earth, massacred millions of people and attempted to turn the planet into your own personal weapon. I am fairly certain that yes it is at the very least partially your fault. Or did you forget that bit?
[He's such a mix of exasperated and guilt ridden he doesn't know whether to growl at you or apologize]
It wouldn't have been like that. [Except, Yes, it would have.]
[He's convinced himself The Master is just another trick being played on him by this city. It isn't the first time it has taunted him with ghosts of his past.]

How should I know?

[Not that he isn't happy to see you but he's pretty sure you were dead last he checked. And what have you done with your hair?]
You don't look good.
((ooc note: At the moment this ten is still pre-End of Time so he'll be a bit confused by the blond-haired master))

Did you think I'd look any better?
[ooc: Thanks for the heads-up! Now the Master has even more reason to be irritated 9_9]

No thanks to you.

[He... just may be a tad bitter]

You were the one who refused to regenerate. All you had to do was regenerate.
[The accusatory tone dissolves with that guilt]
Why didn't you just regenerate?
[Nevermind that you're here now. He's fairly certain you are just another one of the cruel tricks this city pulls on him so routinely.]

As if this was all my fault. But if you're going to dredge up the past... Did you really expect I'd just let you keep me? Like one of your pets?

[The Master shakes his head in bewilderment.]
Why do you keep bringing up that, of all...
[He squints at the Doctor.]
When's the last time we met?

You died. In my arms.
[He does, at least, sound thoroughly miserable]
