Wow.
I am in shock, and a bit confused as to my thoughts on the folowing subject.
A friend of mine...not a close friend, but I hang with her occasionally, her bf is a good guy, and they are good people...
Well, she is pregnant again.
She has a 1 year old, a 3 year old, another baby she gave up for adoption 4 years ago.
She is 24. BF has a decent job, but hardly enough to support a family that keeps growing. They finally got found a house, it small, and they are renting, its in need of a lot of work, but they like it.
They left her parents house, which was a freakin pigsty, dogs, cats, children, and while the family of 7 she grew up in is dysfunctional, without the dad around, they do fine. Her dad is an alcoholic cheater. Her mom is an alcoholic also, but functions, is recovering, and loves her family.
They go to church. Whatever that means.
But there house is dirty.
And I realize that I am a germaphobe.....but still!
They are gone from there, thank god.
But her 1 year old, beautiful beautiful baby, they think she has ringworm from the grass in their new backyard...
poor thing.
They are loving people, its just hard for me to watch people raise their kids in ways I do not agree with.
And besides that, she is cocky as all hell sometimes.
My apartment is tidy, clean, we prefer a minimilist style, save to purchase quality things rather than just buying KMart brand to pacify an immediate need, so sometimes things take longer to get...but thats ok....anyways, she says my place does not look homey...and that insults me. I try hard to make people feel welcome in my home...
I realize her pesonality is as it is...and I can deal with that...just have a hard time being patient sometimes...
Anyways....I am just surprised that they are pregnant AGAIN!

I am off. Groceries first. then....
