I was super lucky and was able to get a ticket from one of the kids who had lined up for the midnight showing at 5:30! I am also very thankful to superfin and Jen for buying my ticket for me as I was cash poor last night!

If this comes to your town, go see it, it's more like an event than a movie. Last night, we were likening it to the MySpace generation's version of Rocky Horror Picture Show. Fans came dressed as the characters. The kids were singing the song of the movie while we waited in line. People traveled from other cities to see it in Boston. The director and the writer were there to introduce the movie and conduct a Q&A session afterwards. Oghr and Alexa Vega who star in the movie phoned in during the session. We were hoping for Oghr to come to the theatre as he played a show in Boston that night, but no such luck. Paris Hilton does not suck in this film and was actually fun to watch.
If I saw this as a regular show in a movie theatre I might be more like "WTF", but it's midnight release works for the movie. It was supposed to go straight to DVD, but the fans have kept the momentum going for it, a show just got booked in Anchorage Alaska! The story to get this movie made is just as entertaining as the movie itself.
