For thouse of you who have expressed worry I am ok. Going in the morning to have fluid removed from various places in my abdomen wehre there are tumores surrounded by pockets of fluid. Hopefully this will releave enough pressure that I hurt less. In a few weeks I will have another CT scan if it does now show this chem as having worked my doctor has suggested that I quit chemo alltoghether and switch to "hospice care" which is that "people come to your house in increasing frequency to try and make you as comfortable as possible while you die". It will be either that or a clinical rial if I can find one, and even if I do not find one I can still stick around for a long time. Strangly they cannot do this "make you as comfortable as possible" care while you are activly recieving chemo or any other treatmnet for cancer, even with my insurance ...... good bless corperations.
Kim (
kimmalat) has been here since Thursday and is going back to the bay area in the morning. We went and had dinner with my old boss David Drum who (along with his wife) is emminatly cool.
Now my request.
Do any of you have connections on getting tickets for alaskan cruses? We are planning to do a family trip that I will probably pay for most of since my siblings really cant afford it. My questions are:
1. if anyone has a line on c eep tickets,
2. if anyone knows if any cruse lines do not charge for infants and or toddlers (my sister has a 10 month old who will be comming and two almost 3 year olds who probably wont be comming but who knows),
3. if anyone has any general alaskan cruse advice
We will be at least 6 adults and one infant and possibly also 2 to 7 more adults as some of my favorite relatives have expressed an intrest. Oh yea and we are talking about August here prefrably the first half (yes I know that is like the most expensive time). So there you go everyone always saying "if you need anything let me know" heheeheheheh mostly I need info if you have it.
