"I am funny, when I feel like it," Sebastian shrugged. That, though, was mostly for show. Funny wasn't something Sebastian could remember having ever been called. When Reid said it, though, Sebastian kind of wanted it to be true.

What even. How was Reid able to pull something like that off? Sebastian was really going to have to actually think this through. Later, though, because right now, there was a question to answer.

Trying not to smirk, Sebastian shrugged. "You got something convincing to offer?" This conversation had turned around quickly, and they hadn't even left the doorway.

This really had turned around quite suddenly - from confused, to shocked, to angry, to strangely upset, to forcedly nonchalant, to, well, weirdly turned on...

That last and most recent one, at least, was a bit more familiar as far as his dealings with Sebastian were concerned-

"I've been told I can be pretty convincing, actually, yeah," he half-shrugged, flicking his eyes from the hand Sebastian still had settled on his arm then up to that ridiculously tempting smirk of his.

"Prove it," Sebastian challenged. This was ridiculous. He'd been ready to run and now he was about three seconds from shoving Reid and his ridiculously attractive smirk against the wall.

"But you should probably actually come in first."

He met the challenge's declaration with a quirk of an eyebrow before stepping forward, shouldering his way past Sebastian and stepping over the bags that had been dropped on the doorstep as he took it upon himself to accept the invitation. He whirled back around to face him, the stern 'challenge accepted' look he had been trying to keep going quickly slipping into more of an amused smile.

"Was that actually a dare?"

Sebastian grinned to himself as Reid passed, ducking his head toward he door as he gripped the edge to push it closed. "You can probably expect a lot more of those, now that I know you can't resist them." Sebastian leaned back against the door, ankles and arms crossed.

He watched Reid for a moment then carefully raised an eyebrow.

Once the door had close behind him and Reid was convinced that for now, at least, leaving wasn't a thing that was happening, he managed to stay away for all of three seconds, watching as Sebastian tauntingly leaned back-

Reining in the urge to instincitvely launch himself at that ridiculously tempting figure, Reid slowly walked his way towards him, stopping just inches short of making actual contact - he felt the fabric of his shirt catching against Sebastian's and tilted his head up just the slightest amount as his face hovered mere inches away from his.

"Who said anything about a dare being the thing I can't resist," he commented quietly, barely just above a whisper.

"You going to tip your hand and admit it's me?" Sebastian didn't miss a beat with the quip. He also used the opportunity to slid his hands smoothly from onto Reid's waist, uncrossing his own legs to pull him close enough for their legs to slot together.

Reid's breath hitched more noticeably than he would have hoped at the urging press of Sebastian's hand and the very obvious increase in points of contacts as their hips jerked together.

"Who said anything about that, either?" he shot back with a halfheartedly raised eyebrow, rather uselessly considering the way he had so easily melted into Sebastian's grip.

He dropped one hand to rest against his hip, snaking the other up his chest until he could hook a finger around the fabric at the neck of his shirt.

Sebastian deliberately leaned toward the small tug of Reid's finger in his shirt. Not that he needed much incentive beyond Reid sort of ... existing and looking at him that way.

"You're sort of easy to read," Sebastian's voice was low, deep in his chest. Words were getting more difficult, though, when he was this close to Reid's lips and their bodies were so perfectly lined up. In the end, the tease wasn't worth the delay, and Sebastian caught Reid's lips roughly with his own.

Because he'd never heard that one before. Of course not. Never, not once.

The fact that Reid's emotions and thoughts were so generally available to decode on his face and in his very mannerisms had always tended to get him into trouble, whether it was with his dad or his professors or one of the slew of bosses and co-workers he had tumbled through over the years.

This, whoever, was the kind of trouble he sure as hell didn't mind his face getting him into.

He gladly met the kiss with equal force, more firmly tightening his hand in the front of Sebastian's shirt, leaning in to pin him between his hips and the door he was still pressed against.

Being expressionless might be Sebastian's general state, but that was part of what made Reid so interesting. He was fairly easy to figure out, but he also had so many expressions with minute differences, that Sebastian was starting to get invested in figuring them all out.

Sebastian rolled his hips against Reid's, humming into Reid's mouth. His hands fisted in Reid's shirt, tugging indistinctly and trying to get at skin.

Generally stoic as he might be, Reid had noticed that the more he had gotten to know Sebastian (well, 'gotten to know' might not the right choice of words, at least not in the general context of the phrase - in this specific arena, yes, he'd gotten to know him quite well - but in most ways Sebastian still remained quite a bit of a mystery, one he was intent on steadily chipping at), the more shades of expression he'd actually managed to see on the man's face.

Beyond the scowl and frown and gloomy smirk (all of which, he had to admit, he still thoroughly enjoyed), he had actually seen more smiles and agreeable looks than he would have thought his face capable of producing.

Reid's hips jerked right back against Sebastian's, insistantly pinning him back to the door. The hand that had settled on his hip grazed across the waistband of his jeans, hooking one finger through a belt loop.

They were essentially pressed entirely together, it was both infuriating and arousing. Not that it apparently took all that much effort from Reid.

He couldn't be bothered to try to twist away from Reid's mouth, far too invested in the catch of lips to stop. He groaned, hand working under Reid's shirt to curl fingers by his spine, nails catching on skin.

Despite the fact that the press of Sebastian's hands and the snag of his nails against the bare skin of his back were sending sparks across Reid's body, he forced himself to pull away slightly when he came up for breath.

He took a small step back, keeping his hand splayed out against Sebastian's chest. Reid glanced back at him as sternly and pointedly as he could manage given his quickened breath and kiss-swollen lips.

"So- you're not leaving tonight, then?"

Surprisingly enough, hair all over the place and looking well-kissed, Reid still managed to pull it off. It wouldn't have forced Sebastian to stay, but it made him feel a little worse for trying to leave.

"I think we covered that," Sebastian nodded. Maybe they hadn't, entirely, but Sebastian had made the decision to stay so that was enough for him usually.

"I'm not leaving. And I won't without actually letting someone know." By someone he meant Reid, but he didn't want to get specific enough to seem ... as weirdly hung up on Reid as he was.

Reid narrowed his eyes as he considered Sebastian's words, gaging their sincerity.

But then he made the mistake of shifting his hand slightly against the damned tempting firmness of Sebastian's chest, and his eyes flicked down to the opening at the top of Sebastian's shirt where the taunting muscles of his throat met the taunting muscles of his chest, then up to his spit-slicked lips, then back to that weirdly, irresistibly alluring gaze of his, and even he wasn't stubborn enough to deny that this momentary, interrogatory resistance wasn't a completely lost cause.

"Okay. Good," he managed to mutter with as much leftover sternness as he could muster, seconds away from giving it up for the sake of feeling Sebastian against him again-
