I haven't written any kind of a personal diary-style entry, or much of anything else, in my LiveJournal in quite a long time.
Life's been busy -- work significantly more intense, several theatre projects onstage and behind the scenes have also been sucking up time.
Leisure time has been dominated by Wii videogaming and a surprising amount of television watching by my usual standards -- upwards of three hours a week lately, minus sped-through commercials thanks to all this newfangled technology.
And for a while I haven't had any exciting new humor ideas to really dig into. Cracked's print magazine revival crashed and burned after three issues, so that was disheartening as a lot of stuff I was writing and drawing was aimed at that venue. I've been writing my usual new stuff for The Wittenburg Door, but for the most part have just been submitting existing unpublished material in 2007. That's okay, it's been good to clear out some backlog.
But I feel like a change is in the offing. The past few mornings I've been waking up with ideas to jot down on my bedside notepad. And I'm actually catching up a little bit with everyone's LJ entries, so that must mean I'm gearing up for something creative again.
The question is, what?
