Yeah, that scene was guh, completely. Things are so hot over there right now, I need a fan. Glad you are okay. A little brush with danger but no harm done. Your kitten worries about you out late at night on your own. *loving little licks and kisses*

Sounds nasty, sorry to hear about the trauma. Mind you when I lived in Islington (a very long time ago) it wasn't trendy and things like that did tend to happen. I used to go to school at The Angel - coincidence or what?

Oh and glad to hear about a new chapter of WoB - looking forward to it.

You're right, it used to be a hell hole didn't it - not unlike Lewisham used to be!!!

When I first moved to London, no one wanted to even venture up Upper St, now is full of trendy restaurants. North London has never been my manor though...

To be honest I was fine though, it was all a bit odd and unsettling, is all. I mean, the little tossers quite clearly weren't taking any notice of me, being far too busy hurling abuse at another bunch of kids across the road.

The thing about LJ is that you can come home and sort of spill your guts out when something weird happens but it could have a helluva lot worse! Just wasn't expecting it.

Did you see the weather forecast by the way - fucking freezing tomorrow!!! Catch you later, sweetpea!

Yep my sister used to live in Forest Hill and from where I am I used to drive through Lewisham to get there - the car doors stayed locked the whole trip!

Did you see the weather forecast by the way - fucking freezing tomorrow!!!

I don't know about tomorrow but the other half is driving home from Milton Keynes as we speak and it is sleeting and 2 degrees.

Catch you later, sweetpea!

Yep looking forward to your comments on chapter 3 - but no rush.

Strangley I was just ringing to see if you were OK - how bizarre.

Sorry about the nasty incident on Upper Street - Moroccan at the Highbury End , yeah I think I know the one, dangly red lampshades yes? Is the food good?

It's strange though I suspect that Islington will still be my residence of choice even after S has left, I have a nice B&B lined up ready, I know where to get coffee and it's quick from Euston...and yet I'll have the whole of London potentially at my disposal!

Not strange at all. Kids with knives are an occupational hazard in most places these days, not just London. I was fine, was just a bit surprised, not expecting it. Won't stop me going there or change my habits, fuck no!

The Moroccan was lovely btw, had lamb shank tajine, was v tasty!

I was just a bit surprised and a bit wrong footed by the sight of the knife, me I'm fine I promise! By next week I will be dining out on it!!!!!

Loved dinnerladies, I keep watching repeats on UK Gold, god that series was so funny, I loved it!!! Thelma Barlow was made for comedy! Actually I think Julie Walters was the weak link.

Will speak to you soon, lovely!

Julie Waters was way too over the top, but she often is. I was so pleased when Bren got together with.... shit, can't remember his name!
