No but I've seen La Boheme - am having a minor panic now, does Walk on By bear a startling similarity to Rent? I hated Miss Saigon so much that I swore never to go to another musical based on grand opera again, Now Sondheim is a different story...

There's no similarity at all, don't worry. It's just that there were a few things that seemed strangely like in-jokes for the RENT head community.

I don't know where I saw this earlier, but if in case I didn't tell you then, this is awesome:-) Poor Viggo, Orlando's so nice; can't wait to see them get to know each other better:-)
