I went to the Almeida with my good friend! The best bit of the evening was dinner! I really was unimpressed - frankly the Almeida can do better. You know they've been off form for a while now. Matildabj prolly disagrees but me? I am just glad it wasn't expensive.
You know, I am reading a kids' book by an American writer, it is set in Victorian times and the characters are Brit. Now if I had been this lady's editor, I would have pointed out that British Victorian society did not have names like Gemma or Virginia. You know, I wish people who wrote historic novels, whether for weans or no, would get a sense of period about their work.

One of my most nearest and dearest has buggered off for NEARLY TWO WEEKS! I mean, really, it's shocking. I am most bereft that she is not around! *sniffs*
Am going home to dad for the weekend. He is not in a good place right now and he needs a dose of his dearest Lottie to remind him that he is lucky I do not live at home. He complains I hog his computer - I complain he does not have broadband while Bertie sits nearby snoring or barking his dear furry head off.
Okay, I am thinking of heading off to bed now.
