(no subject)
you know how some cars have digital odometers? you also know how the ones with digital odometers have two settings? one for total mileage, and the other for mileage this trip? i've had mine on the "trip mileage" for the last 250 miles or so... i think i was checking my tank mileage.
anyway, i switched back to normal, and my car has 111,212 miles on it. this means i missed a very important milestone... 111,111
i was pretty heartbroken.
this is like missing your child's first word.
or like losing your virginity in a drunken orgy at a frat party... it just doesn't happen again---
ok, it's not quite as important as either of those things, but i'm still pretty bummed.
i almost want to pull a ferris bueler and try to run the wheels in reverse to take the mileage off of the car. if i hadn't seen the movie, and known now that it won't work, i just may have done it.
anyway, what are some things you've missed that you wish you hadn't?
