...and all time has disproved

...then, exiled

Like losing thoughts, they go in silence; some
Sheepishly stray, not back into their lives
Just yet; but some stay stiff, twitching and loud
With deep hoarse tears, as if a kind of dumb
And idiot child within them still survives
To re-awake at kindness.
Philip Larkin, Faith Healing

It was her longest and most exhaustive performance: Artist Marina Abramović sat on a chair at MoMa, 75 days during the 7,5 opening hours of her great retrospective The Artist is Present (March 14 - May 31, 2010). She didn't move, she didn't speak, apparently more and more exhausted.

Visitors could take a seat on the chair opposite to her, to return her calm look.
Some stayed only minutes, some hours. Few of them returned again and again. Many broke out in tears.

Marco Anelli documented their faces - fascinated, offensive, devoted, distressed, serene, forgiving and asking for forgiveness.
