I woke up this morning to a text message from a friend greeting me a happy birthday, and went out of the room to bump into my dad who told me Joy called because she wanted to greet me happy birthday.
...Have I woken up in some parallel universe. Last time I checked, I was born on July 26. Guys. SHAME ON YOU JOY, MY FRIEND SINCE SIXTH GRADE, FOR YOU TO GET MY BIRTHDAY WRONG. You so owe me a Wii. >:|

Few days ago I went to UP with brother and sister to file brother's application for the entrance examination. I rather thought that there were no classes that day because there were only a few students loitering around from what I could see, unlike the usual bustling atmosphere of the campus. To my utter shock I was told that in reality, the number of UP students have dwindled to almost half because of the tuition fee increase. D: Not that I blame them-- it used to be 300PhP per unit in my time (2006!) and now it's reportedly 1500PhP per unit. Ballooned five times, good lord.

I can forgive Hollywood for totally ripping off My Sassy Girl, but I. I will seriously scream bloody murder if they remake Sympathy For Lady Vengeance. Seriously. Hollywood. You suck.
