Update for the weekend.
Friday My civic died, at just under 160 thousand miles. Saturday morning I purchased a new 03 Civic LX. I need to get insurance for it. It's a tan/chapagne color and we were trying to figgure out what artisitcally you can do with a color like that(the interrior is tan/brown so painting it wasn't really an option) so the only remotely cool(atleast design wise) thing I could think of that was tan are half those indie-rock shirts that are running atround w/ brown graphics. So it was decided I'm going to do a sillouette of something on the side of the car, some floral thing, Probably wheat(lol) and we're going to call it the EMObile.(Kinda like the batmobile)
I met sean's old friends who seemed cool to party with but were sketchy/flakey aside from that. The Time CD release show was pretty good, and had about 300 people. Honestly was pretty good, and had a huge stage presence. Neither band was really my thing though. We came home for a sec, and Sean went to do the "after show Perkins ritual" with the band. His flakey friends skipped out on him while he was gone. I'll have to post a picture taken at the show later that will be going into my "I eat babies" gallery of bad me photos. That and I have to import homeless to see the melt banana show I found out about in June.
Sunday was Sean's birthday, so we all went to Hops to eat lunch with his family, then wandered around Best buy for a while, and came across some guy who was into "Trial bikes"(not trail bikes) or "Mod bikes" which are the no seat having freestyle equivelent to mountian biking, Sean's trying to encourage me to get into it, and I think I might give in.
Sean and Lori just left to go on a 30 minute run, and have been gone for 4 hours. lol. They're going for a romantic birthday dinner at the Melting Pot tonight. I was invited, but how would I be romantic for them, or justify spending 25 bucks to eat?
